We live in such a divisive society especially politically and people have very strong views. Accepting (but not having to agree with) other views would make for a better world, we are a long way from that sadly !
I think Trump will be positive for the US, he certainly is a leader whatever we think of him. x
I could not agree more! Part of the reason I loved dance was because I had a hard time expressing myself but could get it out by dancing. I was always envious of people who remembered all the numbers and statistics to back up an argument. I spent too much time around lawyers (husband niece brother etc) and could never prevail so lost confidence. I also think having an open mind, listening to other points of view has been a great experience and eye opener for me and my view of the world even if I couldn’t express it well to others or contribute much myself .
I would not agree with Trump being good for the USA unless having the rest of the world hate us more is a good thing. He is decimating the civil service and has basically closed off grant allocation at the NIH. People claiming to be ICE but were actually with the Secret service tried to enter a middle school to question children about potential immigration violations. The schools are prepared and would not let them in without a warrant and have also provided them with information about their rights and the right to remain silent! In Portland a group of individuals who identified as ICE agents boarded a MAX train and questioned some middle schoolers about there citizenship, race, parents etc and threatened them since they had no proof of citizenship
