Welcome, so good to see you here.
Inspired by Oliver Burkeman’s book ‘4000 Weeks’ (4000 weeks = age 80, give or take) I realised as I turned 60 in February that it’s 1000Weeks for me. Blimey, that’s focussing. Particularly as 500 or so of those may see me less able. Of course, I fully intend to bust that stat but…there is no guarantee.
As a Chartered Financial Planner1, my role for 25 or so years, I helped hundreds of clients plan for this thing called ‘retirement’ (a word I strongly dislike by the way). Having arrived here, I figured it’s time to share my musings, learnings and reflections about money and life with you.
